Pathogen Inactivation Photosensitizer
HealX is developing a next-generation UV-activated pathogen inactivation system to enhance the safety of blood transfusions. Our research focuses on a novel photosensitizer that neutralizes bacteria and viruses by targeting their nucleic acids, preventing replication while preserving the integrity of blood components.
This breakthrough technology is designed to maintain the biological function of transfused cells and plasma proteins, ensuring that essential coagulation factors remain intact. By prioritizing both safety and quality, we are working toward a solution that provides effective pathogen protection without compromising the value of blood products.
ZW Cooling Bed
The ZW Cooling Bed 20A 100 is a patented, mobile prototype developed to deliver efficient evaporative cooling for patients experiencing heat stress. Engineered with hospital-grade materials and UL-compliant electrical systems, the design is tailored for use in emergency care settings.
It provides mist and airflow treatment from both above and below the patient using an array of integrated fans and water delivery systems. The bed includes a removable mesh support, sealed ports for hygiene and pressure control, and a design that prevents water from escaping into the surrounding area.
Developed by Radiant International Solution (Houston, TX), this working prototype represents our ongoing commitment to innovation in critical care solutions.
